Canadian Museum of Civilization: collection

The Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation, CMCC (composed of the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum), is pleased to present an evolving searchable catalogue of its collections. Types of artifacts found in our database include: archaeological specimens, aboriginal arts and artifacts, folk art, furniture, war art, military objects, glass, porcelain, textiles and much more.

We offer you two options for exploring the collection:
• Search the on-line catalogue of our collection. This catalogue now contains more than 200,000 objects and will continue to grow until the majority of our more than a million artifacts are included.
• Browse along the aisles of a virtual storage space and you’ll discover a pre-selected sample (approximately 1500 items) of the wide range of objects to be found in the CMCC’s collection.
